The Reconstruction Project of the New Generation VARIAN Linear Accelerator.
It is a remarkable project from an engineering point of view. All special and general sections have been completed. Tactical aspects of installation of equipment and radiation protection have been worked out, because the new machine was significantly more powerful than the previous one.

It would be ideal to initially design the object in such a way that next 10- 20- 30- and more years, descendants would not have to puzzle over possible modernization. But as experience shows, in most cases we are to work with what we have. Besides, it is also a useful and necessary experience.
